Ryan Bohen fish biologist buffalo study.
Ryan presented the results from their buffalo study from the 2023 tournament season. I will attach a picture of his results in the comments.
Cody Vollert read treasurers report.
Raffles
– Luke made a motion that we raffle off a deadwake bow this year, 2nd and no one opposed.
– The year long big fish challenge didn’t have much participation in years past so it was brought up that maybe we make it a youth competition instead. Starts today (Jan 20th) and ends at the last tournament. Any species of fish allowed.
1st: $125
2nd: $75
3rd: $50
Unanimous vote yes.
– Luke proposed club money added to state shoot payouts. 2nd by Cody. No one opposed.
$1000 added to first place numbers.
$500 added to second place numbers.
$1000 added to first place big 20
$500 added to second place big 20
$250 added to first place hobby class.
– It was brought up to maybe try a 50/50 at some of the shoots, otherwise the state shoot for sure. No one opposed.
Donations
– Donate the bow to the AMS Big 20 again, bow is already purchased.
Team of the year awards were presented:
– Numbers: Tony Bulitz, Ben Chappa, Jared Shaw, Leigh Ruff
– Big 30: Jody Bigalke, Mathew Schillinger, Trace Baumgart, Allan Brusky, Simon Schultz, Dan Shultz, Jon Huebl

– Payouts: Jody proposed 60/40 payouts with 60% of entry fees going to big 30 and 40% going to numbers.
