I read the stuff that you rote and i feel the gator hunt will be cool. Why dont you want to be prez anymore i think you do a good job. I never rote on hear bfore cuz i just like to read the stuff but man you not bein prez i shot a few of you tournenets and talk with you 1 time. anyway thanks and hope you still will help out. thanks for thinking of something for us the members. I will try to be there when where?

I read it Lewie and I can say I'm bummed. You've done a great job as Prez and will leave big shoes to fill.
I hope everyone starts to think about the positions and consider running for them. We're going to need everyone to step up so this great sport of ours does not suffer.
One question about the raffle and memberships, will everyone have a chance to buy our memberships at the meeting before the raffle? We either need to make everyone aware of it in advance and do membership renewals by mail or web so we don't run into the voting issue like we did at last year's meeting. I believe that according to our current bylaws you have to have been a goodstanding member for 30 days in order to vote.
Just something to think about.

You will be able to buy your membership that day before the meeting. I just thought this way we could get most of the yearly memberships out of the way. Make it a little easier for the secretary As far as the members that can vote, anyone that is renewing can vote. Here is how it reads in our By-Laws. A new member may not vote whose membership is less than thirty days.
